Tour of both Myers and Simon Halls for a group of undergraduates in P407 (Psychology and Brain Sciences' Drugs and the Nervous System). The tours were arranged by Natasha Murataeva from the Gill Center for Biomolecular Science. - October 17
Impromptu tour of the Simon Hall EM area for two prospective Chemistry graduate students (organized by Chemistry grad student Jocelyn Legere). - October 17
Tour of the Simon Hall EM area for Ashley Smith, one of the students being recruited to IU through the Getting You Into IU program (organized by Tracey Bradley in Biology). - October 22
The Simon Hall EMC facility offered tours as part of the third IU Bloomington Science Fest. Science Fest is the name for the expanded science open house that has been hosted by the departments of Astronomy, Chemistry and Physics for the many years, and now includes (among many others) the Biology, Geology and Mathematics departments. - November 14
Several groups from the Indiana Junior Academy of Science (IJAS) toured several facilities in the Chemistry department, including the Simon Hall EM area (arranged by James Stanton Clark in Chemistry). - November 16
Christiane Hassel in the Flow Cytometry Core Facility arranged for a tour of the EMC for Sylvia Zellhuber-McMillan, a visiting scholar from the University of Otago in New Zealand. - November 28
Tour of the Simon Hall EM area for Ming Dong and two undergraduate students who were visiting the IUB campus as part of a program run by the IU Minority Serving Institutions STEM Initiative (arranged by Prof. Charles Dann III in Chemistry).
