The Gatan 914 high-tilt cryo-holder is both narrow and notched on the sides so that the material of the holder does not shadow the grid at high tilt. It has a tilt range of ±70° in our JEOL JEM 3200FS. It is quite stable and produces high resolution images over the entire tilt range both at room temperature and when cooled to -175 C°.
