There are seemingly limitless ways in which the images collected on the Electron Microscopy Center's (EMC's) electron microscopes can be manuipulated, examined and processed. What follows is a very small collection of common and useful ways to handle the Digital Micrograph (.dm3) files that are directly recorded by the microscopes.
NOTE: All the following operations should be performed on Karst unless otherwise noted.
