Image Processing Tutorials Using Karst

The following exercises are intended to be run on IU's supercomputer Karst, though it would also be possible to copy the data files to another computer system and to run the programs there. A computer account on Karst can be obtained by following these instructions and is required to access these exercises.

The exercises are organized both by data sets that are, in turn, defined by different types of symmetry (spherical virus, high symmetry single particles, asymmetric single particles, etc.) and by programs. For each of the data sets, several exercises are presented. The exercises make use of one or more of the image processing programs installed on Karst and are described in greater detail on the individual pages describing each data set.
